Do I need a developer to use SanctionsKit?
No. You can screen subjects, upload lists, review evidence, and manage monitoring in the dashboard. The API is included when you want to connect an application.
What happens when I reach my allowance?
New screenings stop at the plan or configured cap. There are no automatic overage charges. Check usage in your dashboard and adjust your plan or monitoring workload before reaching the limit.
Do retries and failed requests count?
A retry with the same valid idempotency key does not count twice. Failed or rejected screenings do not count as completed subjects. Completed batch rows count individually.
What does file storage include?
Private bulk screening uploads and supporting text attachments share your organization’s file allowance, including in-progress upload reservations. Bulk files are limited to 25 MiB; supporting .txt or .md files are limited to 200,000 bytes. This is storage capacity, not a monthly upload allowance. Database screening evidence and external document links do not count toward it.
Can we upload passports, PDFs, or images to SanctionsKit?
Original documents are linked, not uploaded to or stored by SanctionsKit. Upload them directly to your organization’s chosen document service, then add the existing HTTPS link to a case. Owners and administrators manage approved services in Settings → Organization documents. That service controls access, security, and retention; adding it does not connect accounts or grant SanctionsKit upload access.
What happens when file storage is full?
New files are blocked until capacity is available. Existing evidence is kept under its retention policy. Starter and Growth customers can upgrade for more file storage. Scale includes 50 GiB; contact support to discuss capacity. There are no automatic storage overages or separate self-service storage add-ons.
Does reviewing evidence consume more screenings?
Opening retained evidence or recording a review decision does not create another screening charge. A new screening or completed monitoring rescreen does.
Can I try the API before sending customer data?
Yes. Use your sandbox key and synthetic records to test requests, errors, and the review workflow. Sandbox activity is separate from paid production allowance.
How does annual billing work?
Annual plans are paid upfront for one year: $588 for Starter, $2,388 for Growth, or $7,188 for Scale. That is equivalent to $49, $199, or $599 per month, saving $120, $480, or $1,440 compared with 12 monthly payments. Screening allowances still reset monthly; annual billing does not pool a year of screenings.
Can I manage or cancel my subscription?
Use Billing in your dashboard to open the billing portal, manage payment details, retrieve invoices, or cancel your subscription.
